It’s been another swimmingly good day at the cabin! Some scrap wood destined for landfill transformed into four lovely salmon coat hooks by David, Calum, Karen and Timo. Well done everyone!

235 million items of clothing went to landfill last year. Most is made from cheap synthetic fabrics such as nylon, acrylic, and polyesters, which will take anywhere unto 200 years to decompose, not great for the environment!
Last night at Lairg Learning Centre we did our bit. Who knew you could make such lovely items from recycled t-shirts.
Our summer classes are filling up, so book soon!
Confused about compost? Want to make dirt not waste?
There are only a couple of places left on our popular compost making course so if you’d like to book please call the office on 01549 402 050.
