Upcoming classes

Day 9 – Today we are very proud to announce that our new Prospectus is completed and will be available in local shops in the coming week! Bursting with new classes and workshops, we have something for everyone. Would you like to read our brand new prospectus online on Facebook? or how about downloading a digital copy from our website? Day 8 – we are delighted to announce that we will be running more bookkeeping and excel for treasurers classes this term. For dates and more information watch this space…

Day 7 – following on from yesterday’s post about free training through Caplich Wind Farm, we are delighted to announce that we will be running the certificated First Aid in the Workplace course again (cost £95). However, we do have some FREE places available, care of Muirhall Energy’s generosity! If you live in the community council areas of Lairg, Creich or Ardgay and District, you could qualify, so please get in touch if you’d like to know more….

Day 6 – Do you have a job where you work with food or volunteer locally in community events? Do you stay in the Creich, Ardgay, Lairg area? Thanks to Caplich Windfarm we can offer you a free space on our next Food and Hygiene course, being run on the 23rd of August. Spaces are limited and fill up fast so book now to secure your space!

Day 5 – Have you had irritating messages on your computer about Windows 10? Have you downloaded it but don’t really understand it? If so, we’ll be holding a 2-hour workshop in September which will help! Funded by Achany Wind Farm, we’re able to offer this at the fabulous price of only £2! More information is in our new prospectus which will be out soon but we’ll be releasing more tasters next week… 🙂

Day 4 – Something for the kids today! We were asked to offer a fun Gaelic club for primary-school aged youngsters and we’ve managed to secure funding from Bord na Gaidhlig. Brilliant tutors Lily Byron and Mairi Munro will run the club, with games and fun to help with learning. The 6 week session (2x 3-week sessions) will only cost £6 (so £1 a week) and we’re very grateful to the funders for such a great opportunity!

Day 3 – Yesterday was garden design, today is home design! How would you like to make your own unique pieces to decorate your home? In a one-day workshop, with super-talented tutor Denise Brown, you will learn how to make a drum lampshade and decorate it with your own design, either sewn, glued or in applique. More information is in our new prospectus which will be out soon. Another class will be revealed tomorrow….. 🙂

Day 2 – fantastic tutor Sarah Whealing will be offering a Practical Garden Design class to help you get your garden sorted! Do you have a mess that could be a nice garden? Do you want to make your garden more productive, or prettier, or you have no idea where to begin? More information is in our new prospectus which will be out soon. Another new class will be revealed tomorrow….. 🙂

Day 1 – Back by popular demand we will be running another Norse Legacy class with the fantastic Lindsay Macdonald in the very near future! More information on this and your other favourite classes and workshops coming very soon.
