Mosaic workshops – Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th March

Fancy having a go at mosaics? We are holding workshops on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th March. Day one will be creating your mosaic and day two will be grouting and polishing to make a great finished item. Bring along a base and your creativity. Bases can be old flat picture or mirror frames, wooden, slate, or ceramic flat bases or Floor/wall tiles. Make coasters, a trivot, a plaque or cover a terracotta flower pot.

Valentines Cooking for One – Tuesday 6th February, 1-4pm, The Hub Bonar Bridge

James, Head Chef from The Pier will show you how to make an impressive three course meal from fresh ingredients for your valentines prince or princess.

Make Your Own Draught Excluder – 27/1/18

UPDATE – DUE TO A CANCELLATION WE HAVE SPACES AVAILABLE FOR THIS GREAT WORKSHOP ON SATURDAY, PLEASE CONTACT US TO BOOK

Keep out the draughts and save energy whilst re using fabric and materials, and go home with your lovely bespoke draught excluder.
This FREE workshop will run on – Saturday 27 January from 10 – 4pm in Lairg Learning Centre. All you need to bring along is your creativity, your sewing machine and sewing kit, and some fabrics to reuse; an old duvet set,curtains or even jeans for the exterior and a heavy curtain or blanket for the interior.
